North Carolina – Hurricane Helene (2024) Recovery
Construction
We will be working in Spruce Pine, North Carolina with those who have been affected by Hurricane Helene in the Fall of 2024. We are returning to Spruce Pine where there are still hundreds in need of reconstruction. Projects will depend on the need and our skills.
This trip is in partnership with Unity Baptist Association in Diboll, TX.
Team Meeting – Sunday, February 1st @ 3:00 PM – UBA Office
Sign up by February 8th. Payment due by February 15th.
TRIP DETAILS
PARTICIPANT PROFILE
Committed Christian believer, active in a local church, age 18-100, Male or Female
16-17 year olds may come with a parent
ACCOMODATIONS
We are sleeping on cots/air mattresses in the facility maintained by North Carolina Baptists on Mission
TRAVEL
Arrive in Spruce Pine after 5 pm on Sunday, March 8. Depart on Friday, March 13, after lunch.
MINISTRY DETAILS
We will be doing construction work in partnership with Baptists on Mission.
PAYMENT DETAILS
$50 Deposit is due with the application
Final payment due February 15, 2026.
